Love Island water bottles are everywhere, even when the show has finished and we have to wait a year for the next season you still see them on desks around offices across the country. At £14.99 for the official Love Island water bottlesare quite expensive. Let’s have a look at making a personalised water bottle ourselves for a more reasonable price.
For this you'll need…
- Plain water bottle
- Love Island sticker/decal
The Water Bottle
The first thing we’ll need is a water bottle. I found this Tritan bottle at B&M for just £2.99.
I think the white one works best but they also have options in pink and blue.
It’s worth looking around other bargain shops as they often have very similar bottles to the Love Island versions at very cheap prices, that said, the Tritan is the best that I’ve found so far in terms of matching the bottles used on the show.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Tritan water bottle in store, so I picked up this one from TKMaxx for £5. It isn't perfect but it's not a bad substitute.
Love Island Sticker
The next thing you’ll need is a personalised Love Island style sticker to add to the bottle. My Love Island style stickers are perfect for this and work great on water bottles. I offer a range of sizes for this decal but if you let me know the size of your bottle when you order I can make it match perfectly.

Applying The Sticker
Now we need to put the personalised sticker on the bottle. Here's my guide showing you how to apply stickers/decals. It's quite easy, all you have to do is position the sticker where you want it to be and apply pressure across the lettering - you can do this with your thumb.

Once you have rubbed all over the lettering you can peel back the application sheet. Do this slowly and you’ll be able to see if there are any areas which need a bit more pressure applying. If this is the case, lay the application sheet back down and press a bit more.
Congratulations, you now have your very own Love Island water bottle at a fraction of the cost of the real thing.

Looking After Your Water Bottle
As your bottle uses a sticker rather than being printed on you need to take a little more care when washing it. Although the stickers are pretty hard-wearing you don’t want them submerged in water for any length of time. You can clean the inside with a bottle brush and the outside you can simply wipe clean with a cloth or sponge with soap and water. To preserve the sticker, dry it off shortly after washing.
Enjoy!
